Our vision: Good leadership. Amplified.

As 2022 sighs, kicks off the covers and rolls reluctantly out of bed … inside the Propel office there’s renewed energy.

We’re doing things differently this year, and we’d love for you to join the movement (more on that at the end!).

Simply put, our renewed vision is to see good leadership amplified.

Our mission: to help individual leaders protect and enhance their digital reputation.

Why?

Leaders today operate in the reputation economy. And while what you say and do offline is important, we’ve all seen the real reputation battles are fought, won and lost online today.

Staff, customers, shareholders, media, regulators — every one of your key audiences now relies on online information to help determine whether to trust you or not. And having helped our institutional clients on social media over the past decade, in recent years we’ve seen just how important executives’ individual digital efforts are in protecting and enhancing reputation — at both an individual and organisational level.

Whether you’re actively involved or not, your digital reputation is being shaped and refined with each key stroke on the public social web. The question leaders and their advisers need to be asking is: is that reputation an asset or a liability?

We’re here to help ensure it’s the former.

We want to help leaders enhance their positive impact and influence online.

We want to see good leadership amplified.

We plan to use Propel’s social platforms purposefully to further this mission and inspire change by highlighting the very best examples from global digital leaders. Public sector, private sector, local, global, for purpose, for profit: it doesn’t matter. Our commitment is simply to provide a place where these examples can be seen and celebrated, so others are encouraged to act.

We will also be launching a few new initiatives:

– our ‘Leader Feed’ for those wanting a regular, curated feed of digital reputation best practice and analysis;

– ‘Your Digital Reputation Podcast’ where you’ll hear honest, practical advice from industry experts and leaders themselves.

We’d love your help too. Please connect and reach out with any suggestions on leaders using their digital reputation for good so we can amplify their efforts. The more positives we see, the more positives we learn, the more positive society can become.

Let’s start amplifying the good.
